West Park Hotel
In summer 2021, the Penguin team completed the full fit-out and refurbishment of the West Park Hotel Courtyard, which features a stunning all-weather dining and events space.
Located in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, this award-winning boutique hotel is part of the Provenance Inns & Hotels group and is a longstanding facilities management client of Penguin FM.
The £130,000 project was completed in 8 weeks and involved us working closely with architects and interior designers Bowman Riley to deliver the high-end hospitality and events space, bringing to life their beautiful design and ensuring every detail was finished to the highest standard.
Our in-house joinery team built bespoke items including the bar, cabana booths, mobile DJ box and the seating areas, which contain fully heated seats and were crafted out of Iroko wood.
With a retractable roof, the space is a fantastic all-year dining and events space and provides the perfect backdrop for any social event or occasion.

The Savvy Baker
This exciting project saw the Penguin FM team work closely with Leeds-based baking entrepreneur The Savvy Baker to create a brand new production unit for this growing business.
The team designed and installed a new production kitchen, packing and distribution area, complete with large-scale industrial ovens and a walk-in refrigeration room, which has enabled The Savvy Baker to boost production output by 400% and recruit 10 new members of staff.

Westrow Salon
Penguin FM serves clients in retail, hospitality and leisure with a range of refurbishment and fit-out services, and the team loved working with Westrow Ilkley on their stunning salon refurbishment, which we completed as a full, multi-trade project.
Our team completely stripped back the space, installing brand new flooring and air conditioning units, whilst our joinery team built multiple bespoke pieces, including the reception unit, cabinetry, styling units and mirrors, building in details such as the stunning feature lighting.

Retail Pharmacy Group
Medichem Pharmacy are an independent chain of retail pharmacy stores operating throughout the West Yorkshire region.
Penguin FM have had the privilege of working with Medichem on multiple projects to include new fit out of stores and refurbishment of existing stores to bring up to date with the new re-branding. Having created such an impression we were selected to carry out full integrated facilities management of all stores.
